Tree Care Supervisor

Duties entail overseeing all day-to-day operations for tree care crews, growth planning and development, budgeting, project insight/planning, data entry, customer consultation, hiring staff, procurement/bidding of large contracts. Supervisor is expected to have the ability to work remotely as needed, answer calls, emails pertaining to his/her role at all times except for while on scheduled vacation. Supervisor is to be a role model for all company policy regulations regarding dress code and appearances as set forth in company handbook and is to enforce or discipline those not within these regulations.

Requirements: ISA certified arborist, Pesticide Applicator preferred not required, 5 years minimum in tree work industry, must have exemplary knowledge of all tree care operations. NCCO/CDL is a plus.

College: Bachelor’s in business management is a plus.

Compensation: Salary paid position with possible bonuses for high profit quarters, 401k simple IRA match of 100% on 3%, paid vacation, paid holidays (10), healthcare.

Tree Care Foreman

Duties entail overseeing day-to-day operations of individual tree crews you are assigned to, assigning roles per job, time tracking for job and crew, customer consult, provide job status updates, assess employee performance.

Tree Care foreman duties may also include climbing or cutting from bucket truck as needed, driving vehicles to and from jobs as needed directs employees to perform tasks to maintain company owned vehicles and equipment as necessary, adheres to all company policy regulations regarding dress code and appearances as set forth in company handbook and is to enforce or discipline those not within these regulations.

Foreman is expected to have the ability, answer calls, emails pertaining to his/her role at all times except for while on scheduled vacation.

Experience required: 3-5 years in tree work and has a vast knowledge of all tree work duties, class B or A CDL preferred, ISA arborist is a plus.

Compensation: Per hour paid position with possible overtime (overtime is paid anything over 8 or 40 hours on standard 5-day week schedule) bonuses for high profit quarters, 401k simple IRA match of 100% on 3%, paid vacation, paid holidays (10), healthcare. Position also comes with a company vehicle, cell phone and laptop.

Hourly: $24.00-$29.00

Tree Climbers

Duties entail pruning according to ANSI A300 standards, manual tree removal, rigging, crane assisted removals, performs health inspections, drives company vehicles to and from jobs as needed and assists in ground crew operations as needed, performs tasks to maintain company owned vehicles and equipment as necessary, adheres to all company policy regulations regarding dress code and appearances as set forth in company handbook.

Experience preferred, training optional, must have 3-5 years of experience in the tree industry.

Compensation: Per hour paid position with possible overtime (overtime is paid anything over 8 or 40 hours on standard 5-day week schedule) bonuses for high profit quarters, 401k simple IRA match of 100% on 3%, paid vacation, paid holidays (10), healthcare.

Hourly: $22-$28

Ground Crew

Duties entail, machine operations, chainsaw cutting, driving of company vehicles to and from jobs, collection of tools from job sites, performs tasks to maintain company owned vehicles and equipment as necessary, adheres to all company policy regulations regarding dress code and appearances as set forth in company handbook.

Experience in the tree industry is not required, training is on the job.

Hourly: $17–$22

Compensation: Per hour paid position with possible overtime (overtime is paid anything over 8 or 40 hours on standard 5-day week schedule) bonuses for high profit quarters, 401k simple IRA match of 100% on 3%, paid vacation, paid holidays (10), healthcare.

CDL Drivers

Duties entail driving company owned Commercial motor vehicles as needed, drivers will need to perform duties to dump loads, load trucks and unload trucks as required. Drivers will assist in ground crew operations as needed if driving is not required. Drivers must be physically able to climb up and down ladders for log truck and willing to learn to use log loader if not experienced in this operation.

Experience, drivers must have a clean driving record and have at minimum Class B with manual endorsement. Drivers are expected to gain knowledge of trucks he/she will be driving.

Hourly: $20-$25

Mechanic

Hourly: $20-$25

Job duties:

  • Keep up with scheduled PM’s on trucks and all equipment
  • Perform field repairs
  • Keep CDL trucks up to DOT standards
  • Have knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines
  • Have knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Have knowledge of track adjustment and repair on equipment
  • Have knowledge of small equipment repair (ie chainsaws, blowers, weed wackers, mowers)
  • Prepare vehicles for state inspections
  • Keep records of PM’s and repairs done
  • Keep equipment list up to date
  • Learn or know how to sharpen chain saw chains and stump grinder teeth
  • Maintain shop supply stock
  • Maintain all acquired licenses/ certifications
  • Be willing to go to training for equipment
  • Overtime over 40 hours
